Biotrust Nutrition is the company behind Leptiburn. The supplement claims to support leptin production so you can finally take back control over your weight. Leptin does play an important part in weight and weight loss, but can this supplement really work as claimed?

The bottle contains only enough of the supplement for slightly more than two weeks, so you are forced to spend more than $100 each month for optimal benefits.
List of Ingredients
Olive Leaf Extract, Brown Seaweed Extract, Irvingia Gabonensis IGOB131, Panax Notoginseng Extract, Green Tea Standardized Extract and Yerba Mate Standardized Extract.
There are six ingredients in Leptiburn. Only two of the ingredients are associated with increased metabolism and weight loss. Olive leaf extract has a long history of use as an antibiotic and antioxidant. It is the association with insulin and appetite that make this ingredient an interesting choice for a weight loss supplement like Leptiburn. The ingredient may help reduce appetite, but it will not affect leptin levels.
Brown seaweed extract is commonly used for thyroid support as it is a good source of iodine. Fucoxanthin is another element found in brown seaweed extract. Fucoxanthin has been shown to promote fat loss by affecting both white and brown fat tissues.
Irvingia gabonensis, or African mango extract, has been clinically proven to increase weight loss when taken with a healthy diet. Leptiburn suggests a healthy diet. This makes for a good combination. Panax notoginseng extract is clinically proven to help promote weight loss, based on rat studies, but the amount of extract the average human would need to consume tops out at more than 18,000 mg.
The final two ingredients are green tea extract and yerba mate extract. Green tea extract supplies ECGC and caffeine. ECGC increases metabolism without affecting heart rate or blood pressure. Caffeine, also present in yerba mate extract, increases energy and may increase metabolism so you lose more weight.
- Biotrust Nutrition does offer a list of ingredients on the official website.
- Green tea extract can help with weight loss – supported with clinical research.
- Yerba mate extract is a source of caffeine for energy and increased metabolism.
- The dieter has no idea how much caffeine they are taking.
- May interfere with sleep if taken too late in the day.
- One bottle only lasts 15 days.
- It will cost more than $130 for one month’s supply.
There is nothing particularly wrong with the Leptiburn formula, but there is some missing information that we would like to see – like the amount of caffeine per serving. The bottle contains only enough of the supplement for slightly more than two weeks. That is not long enough to give the product a good try, so you are forced to spend more than $100 each month for optimal benefits.
