What is PGX Daily?
PGX Daily is a fat burner from the PGX product line. The official website has been around since 1997, but we’re not exactly sure when the product made its debut. It’s available in pill form as well as packets of powder that are to be mixed with water or juice. It is taken twice daily. The company behind PGX Daily is InovoBiologic. You buy direct from the official website, or other online retailers such as Amazon. It’s also available in some retail store locations throughout the United States, and you can find a store locator on the official website. This product isn’t part of a MLM campaign.
- Long Term Results
- Safe to Use
PGX Daily is a multivitamin, but not a weight loss supplement.
Active PGX Daily Ingredients
Many of the active ingredients in PGX Daily can also be found in other dietary supplements.
PolyGlycopleX (PGX) – this is a patented fiber extract that is the basis for all the PGX supplements, including PGX Daily.
Konjac Root – a plant that provides a natural source of fiber known as glucomannan. The fiber absorbs more than its weight in water to create a gel to artificially fill the stomach.
Sodium Alginate – a compound extracted from brown seaweed, it is widely used in food as a thickening or emulsifying agent. It is commonly used in spherification, or making food into spheres. When mixed with something like apple juice, it makes small balls that look like caviar, and then when it hits the saliva, it turns back into apple juice in the mouth.
Xanthan Gum – this is another compound that acts as a thickening agent.
What’s PGX Daily Supposed to Do?
PGX Daily is supposed to help dieters lose weight by managing their blood sugar, and controlling cravings. The added fiber should also help suppress the appetite, and possibly even help lower cholesterol. Fiber is associated with weight loss, but, many people complained about the taste and consistency of the product. The glucomannan from the konjac root turns into a gel when mixed with liquid, making hard for some people to drink.
Potential PGX Daily Side Effects
Fiber rich supplements have been known to cause side effects for some users, including:
- Stomach pain
What’s the Final Take on PGX Daily?
There’s really not a lot to say about PGX Daily. There isn’t any real solid science to support it, and many users have complained about bad taste and side effects, making it a hit or miss product. These are just a couple reasons we have reservations about this formula.
